Frequently Asked Questions

Expand All:
How to make keto ice cream soft?

Use a combination of fats like heavy cream, full fat yogurt, and almond milk to help the creamy texture and enhance the rich flavor.

Can you make homemade keto ice cream with eggs?

Yes, instead of using yogurt, Slowly, pour about half of the hot heavy cream mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly to temper the eggs to avoid scrambling.

How to make yogurt ice cream without a machine?

Follow my recipe, instead of placing in the machine -

  1. Pour the yogurt mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container. The shallower the container, the faster the mixture will freeze. Make sure it's large enough to spread the mixture out thinly.

  2. Freeze and Stir: Place the container in the freezer. After about 45 minutes to 1 hour, remove the container from the freezer and stir the mixture vigorously with a spoon or whisk. This helps break up any ice crystals that may be forming.

  3. Repeat Freezing and Stirring: Return the container to the freezer and repeat the process every 30 minutes to 1 hour for the next 2-3 hours. Each time you remove the mixture from the freezer, give it a good stir to break up any ice crystals and to create the creamy texture.
