Ingredients
1cupall-purpose flour
2tbspsugar
1tbspbaking powder
½tspsalt
1cupmilk
1largeegg
2tbspbuttermelted
1tspvanilla extract
2tbspmaple syrup
Instructions
Mix dry ingredientsIn a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Mix wet ingredients.In another bowl, mix melted butter, egg, milk and vanilla extract.
Combine.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stir until combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy which helps pancakes become fluffy
Heat pan.Over medium heat, lightly butter pan and wait until hot.
Cook pancakes.Pour batter onto skillet and cook until bubble form. ~ 2-3 minutes. flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Serve warm and with real maple syrup.
Notes
Avoid overmixing as this will cause a dense pancake.
