This is the most challenging age group to buy gifts for. Most products state 3 years and up because their a choking hazard or not age appropriate enough for the little one to understand the concept.

I gathered a list of toys we have, love and recommend.

Melissa & Doug Barn

This is a cute toy that will grow with him, a barn and animals! Don’t forget the barn animals, which are included in the M&D Barn set

Bead Maze

A bead maze, giving ya doctors office vibes? This is a relaxing activity that always seems to catch my little ones eye during the day of playtime.

Strider Balance Bicycle

Do yourself a favor and skip the training wheels! Our little one was rocking on his Strider Bicycle before he was walking! We made sure to get the rocker because it helps build confidence and gets them on the bike fast. It’s also a gift that will grow with him until about age 4/5. We take his bicycle everywhere. Don’t forget a helmet!

Melissa & Doug Sound Puzzles

These sound puzzles – I got the House and the Farm animals, have helped with speech development and making animal noises.

Firehouse Station

We live in the city so we constantly hear fire truck sirens and ambulances. This firehouse helped him not be as afraid of the sirens, now he imitates the siren and understands what truck it’s coming from. This firehouse is made of all wood too!

Alphabet Stacking Blocks

He loves walking around the stacked blocks, pointing to the pictures, speaking the pictures and then knocking it down and building it again.

Magna Tiles

This is probably a hit on everyone’s list, Magna Tiles. You can just see the wheels spinning trying to build new objects.

A Star Projector

This star projector is a great way to wind down at night and is relaxing. Before bed we plug ours in and put relaxing music through the Bluetooth option on the projector.

Talking Flash Cards

These talking flash cards come with tons of cards, front and back. A fun game to play and help teach new objects and things you don’t see in every day life.

Car Rug

This car rug adds a lot to the playroom and he plays on it everyday with all kinds of cars.

Puffy Stickers

We love the Farm Animal Puffy Stickers

Rechargeable Bubble Maker

Get this rechargeable bubble maker, Easy entertainment and having a rechargeable bubble maker is so nice to not have to buy expensive batteries! Make sure to get bubbles.

Shoes

Toddler shoes can be expensive and if they don’t fit correctly can really trip up your tot. We really like the sock shoes, He seems to walk very well and comfortable in them.

Pajamas

Pajamas are always a great gift for anyone.

Kitchen Sink

He loves pouring water into other containers, running water and this kitchen sink is so much fun and the perfect outdoor toy!

Wooden Food

This wooden food is fun to play with and learn food names.

Water Toys

Water Toys are a blast in the bath and pool.

Toddler Projector Flashlight

This Projector Flashlight is a lightweight and easy for children to handle by themselves.

Books

Sensory books are the best at any age. A few of our favorite books are M&D Poke a dot book, Elmo’s P is for Potty and A Pop Up Peekaboo

Tent

This tent pops up very easily and folds down. All the accessories are fun to play with and the two lanterns are his favorite!

Tent

Catching bugs and looking at them is a lot of fun and a great activity to learn about all the bugs around us.

Great for rides around the neighborhood, festivals or long hikes. This wagon is durable and folds up nicely.
