This delicious blackberry cobbler was made with fresh navajo blackberries, picked straight off the vine. Such a fun afternoon activity to share with your toddler too! Navajo Blackberries have no thorns so it made such a fun time picking together.

Blackberry Cobbler

Delicious blackberry almond flour keto low sugar cobbler!

  • 4 cup Blackberries
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 3/4 cup Almond Flour
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Corn Starch
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 stick Browned Butter
  • 1/2 stick Cream Cheese (Optional)

Step 1 Preheat/Grease

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, Grease your baking dish.

Step 2 Prepping Blackberries

  1. Prep your blackberries by drizzling butter and maple syrup over them.

Step 3 Whisk cornstarch and sugar

  1. Whisk together cornstarch and sugar. Sprinkle cornstarch mixture over blackberries, toss until evenly coated. Spread into the greased baking dish.

Step 4 Make the batter

  1. Whisk almond flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl until evenly distributed. Stir in milk, melted butter and vanilla until combined.

Step 5 Add Cream Cheese

  1. Add cream cheese on top to create a more creamy texture.

Step 6 Pour Batter

  1. Pour batter over berries in your baking dish.

Step 7 Place in oven

  1. Put into preheated oven until your dish is golden brown, around 1 hour.

  2. Enjoy with some berries on top and some homemade whip cream!
