Almond flour crust offers a keto friendly, low carb alternative to traditional pizza flour. It is packed with a nutty flavor and satisfying crunch! Creating the perfect almond flour crust involves a careful balance of ingredients and techniques to get the crispy, yet sturdy enough crust for your favorite toppings.

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat. Preheat your oven to 425°F
Step 2: Mix dry ingredients. Mix your dry ingredients- flour, baking powder, salt in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Mix wet ingredients. Mix together olive oil, water and egg.
Step 4: Add mixture to dry ingredients. The mixture will be thick and sticky.
Step 5: Prep your baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil onto center of baking sheet. Scrape dough out onto pan.
Step 6: Work the dough.
Using wet fingers, start at the center of the dough and work outwards, pressing it into the pan.
Step 7: Bake. Bake crust for 8-10 minutes until its set.
Step 8: Remove/Place toppings on. Remove from oven and top with whatever you like – pepperoni, mushroom, pepperoncini
Place in oven for 5 minutes, remove from oven and serve warm!

Can you freeze for left overs?

Yes, freeze the baked pizza slices verses the flour dough

for frozen pizza bases, defrost for one hour and prebake for about 5 minutes then add your toppings, return to oven until cheese is melted.
