Creating a homemade fruit rollup is so easy and a healthy way to enjoy a burst of fruity flavors. Start by pureeing a mix of fruits, spread evenly onto a lined baking sheet and dehydrate or bake until it transforms into a flexible, chewy texture. Cut into strips, roll up and enjoy!
This homemade treat is a delicious snack but also provides fiber, antioxidants and vitamins. You will also be avoiding any artificial additives or preservatives, sugars and have fresh, high quality fruits in your rollup.
They are fun to make, reduces waste and are quite cost effective as well.

Yes thaw them first, and drain water.
How thin should the fruit strips be spread?
Aim for an even, thin layer for even drying and texture.
Can I make fruit roll ups without a dehydrator?
Yes, I actually used the oven. Just set it at the lowest temperature and prop the door open slightly to help moisture escape.
How to prevent sticking to parchment paper?
Lightly grease the paper or use a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
How long does it take to dehydrate fruit roll ups?
Dehydration varies but typically 4-8 hours.
What is the difference between fruit leather and fruit roll ups?
Fruit leather is a lot thicker and chewier compared to the thinner and more pliable fruit rollups.
